WIN a Tektronix arbitrary /function generator
16 May 2008
Electronic Product Design is offering readers the chance to win an AFG3021B arbitrary/function generator from Tektronix.

The AFG3021B is a powerful function, pulse, and arbitrary waveform generator designed to shorten test time and reduce time from design to market. It can deliver both arbitrary waveforms and math-based
‘functions’ such as sine and pulse waves. It supports 12 standard functions (waveform shapes) including
sinusoidal waves at frequencies up to 25MHz. A built-in arbitrary waveform generator capable of delivering sample rates up to 250MSample/ sec and 14bit amplitude resolution can generate or replicate any waveform.
The design and test of electronic circuitry often requires one or more simulated input signals from a missing or difficult to obtain component or sensor. These signals can be as simple as an audio frequency or clock signal or more complex such as a serial data stream or signal from an airbag sensor during a crash.
The Tektronix AFG3021B can test electronic circuits with one or more signal inputs and sine waveforms at frequencies up to 25MHz, generate arbitrary waveforms up to 250MSample/sec, obtain up to 1ppm clock
stability.
The AFG3021B that can be won is a single channel model. Visit the Tektronix competition page at
