The LTC3534 provides extended battery run time in handheld apps. It can deliver 500mA of output current to a regulated output that is above, below or equal to the input using a single inductor and is for 3/4 cell Alkaline/NiCad/NiMH or single cell lithium apps which must maintain a constant output voltage.
