The stand-alone or networked product has been designed to convert any Euro profile mechanical cylinder lock into an electronic proximity cylinder device, in a matter of minutes.

The ePAC Cylinder can replace existing key-based manual cylinders, without replacing the entire lock. It can function in either stand-alone mode, or as part of a larger network. With wireless capability, the unit can also link to the PAC range of controllers, providing an integrated door access solution.

Using the ePAC Cylinder provides simplified key management and affords access rights to be altered quickly and easily, without the need to change the entire cylinder in the event of altered access permissions or lost keys. The system also eliminates the need for expensive multiple key cutting and complicated key tracking systems.

In stand-alone usage, ePAC Cylinder can serve up to 200 key holders, whilst connection to PAC controllers using the optional wireless module affords up to 75,000 key holders, when linked to PAC SecureNet Integrated Access Control Administration Software.

Powered by replaceable 3V Lithium batteries and with a life of up to 30,000 operations, an external emergency power adapter is also available, so as to provide access in all eventualities.
