Distribution deal signed

Iscon Video Imaging has signed an agreement with Ukrainian distributor of security equipment, Incom.

The patented, proprietary Iscon system is also available in a larger whole body scanner portal, Iscon 1000D

This means that Incom will sell Iscon’s newly introduced screening equipment to government facilities, airports and corporations.

Iscon’s Whole Body Imaging System Model 1000D and the portable version, the Iscon GameChangeIR, were recently demonstrated at a government security conference.

The GameChangeIR only shows objects and clothing without any harmful radiation. It will reveal the thermal imprint of any material; plastic, paper, wood, ceramics, powder as well as metal. Its infrared rays don’t scan under clothing, which eliminates privacy issues. However, it is more effective than an X-Ray machine detecting objects hidden in ‘sensitive’ hiding places.

“The Iscon systems have a significant advantage since there are no privacy issues and the equipment doesn’t emit radiation,” says Maria Shmatko, VP Sales and Service of Incom.

The GameChangeIR can be packed up in a suitcase and deployed at different locations to add an important random element to an organisation’s security strategy, while keeping its costs low. It consists of an imaging display terminal as well as the specially designed infrared scanner and platform for people to be checked. The system’s power requirements can easily be adapted using converters or necessary transformers.

The patented, proprietary Iscon system is also available in a larger whole body scanner portal, Iscon 1000D, for use in commercial security areas. A complete scan and detection takes 30 seconds so people can quickly move through security areas.
