And the winner is…

14 September 2010

Our big event of the year took place last week as we unveiled the winners of the e-Legacy awards 2010.

Tim Fryer

The whole event had an air of celebration. The guest list comprised representatives from all sectors of the industry, but most importantly representatives from the 35 finalists. There can be no doubt that all of those who were there recognised that they were celebrating the cream of the electronics industry – an admirable combination of engineering brilliance and social responsibility.

As a venue, the Kensington Roof Gardens had all the glamour of a top central London location, while the sunshine on the manicured Spanish gardens, complete with flamingos, managed to provide a slightly surreal quality to the event as well!

I really do thank all of the companies who entered. From what I can gather, the very act of entering can do a company’s internal image no end of good – people like to feel proud of the company they work for! And particular congratulations to the finalists – all 35 would have been a worthy winner but we could only have eight to pick up the trophies and these were decided by EPD readers’ votes.

So, as determined by you, here is the role of honour for the e-Legacy awards 2010.
