Data extraction from mobile digital devices
05 January 2011
Update enables users to recover physical data from mobile digital devices, SIM and media cards.

Radio Tactics has updated Athena, enabling users to carry out physical as well as logical data extractions.
Athena is now able to extract a physical image of the internal memory of a portable electronic device. This step further enhances the capability of Athena, a frontline intelligence gathering platform that offers rapid and effective data acquisition from mobile devices in high pressure situations.
Due to customer demand, Radio Tactics has opened up previously restricted functionality in Athena to allow users to extract system and OS files using logical analysis. This means that Athena can now go even further to empower military and covert operatives with real time, actionable intelligence.
Andy Gill, CEO of Radio Tactics commented: “This announcement reflects the ethos of the Radio Tactics team. We listen to our customers and respond to their needs. Taking on board client feedback has led to our developers opening up this previously undocumented capability in Athena. The environment in which military and security forces operate is constantly changing and we strive to evolve our products to meet their changing demands.”
