High demand for custom solutions

Elektron Technology predicts custom design will be a top trend at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics.
Owner of the Arcolectric, Bulgin and Sifam electronics manufacturing brands, Elektron Technology, is predicting custom design solutions to be a key trend at the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics Exhibition 2011 taking place later this month.
Elektron Technology previously saw phenomenal levels of interest in waterproof switching and connectivity at the show, particularly in Bulgin’s Buccaneer IP68 waterproof connectors, waterproof antennae and the EXPlora range of connectors.
These components have since featured in a wide range of end user products from door entry systems to vehicle tracking systems as well as structural testing equipment and water flow measurement and are suitable for use in harsh, challenging outdoor environments.
For this year’s Southern Manufacturing and Electronics show, the company is anticipating significant interest in its flexible, customer-driven solutions developed from its core technology platforms.
