Factory Authorised Safety Stock (FASSt) keeps production lines running without interruption

Rochester Electronics, in co-operation with original chip manufacturers, provides a semiconductor device stocking programme for active parts that provides factory traceable, 100% guaranteed products with little to no lead time.

The Factory Authorised Safety Stock (FASSt) programme is complementary to the main sales channel, and makes millions of active semiconductors available immediately.

Manufacturers include Analog Devices, Fairchild, Freescale, Intel, ON Semiconductor and many more. The FASSt programme also helps eliminate the possibility of substandard and counterfeit components from entering a customer’s supply chain, as all devices are traceable to the original manufacturer.

“As original semiconductor manufacturers reach over-stock of certain products, Rochester acquires these parts and makes them available for times when supply is limited due to factory production lead times,” said George Karalias, Director of Marketing and Communication at Rochester Electronics.

FASSt includes a broad product offering including: AD5398BCPZ-REEL7 D/A converter, ADM5170JP-REEL line driver, NC7S32P5X OR gate, P6KE200A voltage suppressor, MC56F8013VFAE microcontroller, MC9S08QE8CTG microcontroller, RK80530PZ009256 microprocessor, SB80486DX2SC50 microprocessor, NB4N7132DTR2G interface, NCP1651DR2G controller, and many more.
